Seeing Life from God’s View

James 4:14 – “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”

Life is short no matter how many years we live (we always want more). We must not be deceived to think we have a lot of time remaining to live for Christ, enjoy our loved ones, or to do what we know we should. Knowing that our lives are “a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes,” should encourage us to live for God TODAY! Then, no matter when our life ends, we will have fulfilled God’s plan for our lives.

The way you see your life shapes how you will live your life. Our perspective will influence how we invest our time, spend our money, use our talents, and value our relationships.

Today I encourage us all to ask ourselves, “How do I see my life?”
How we answer this question determines our expectations, values, goals, relationships, and your priorities.

May we take advantage of the time we have now by living for God alone and showing love to those we care about. And I pray that we will not let a day go by with any regrets. Let us choose today to be who God wants us to be!
