God can use our lowest valleys as the start of our greatest journeys!! I heard a quote similar to this in church about a year ago and I was reminded of it tonight when I was watching a clip that a friend sent me earlier today. I will let you check it out first! :)

I was just blown away by Francis Chan’s story!! So many bad things happened to him, yet through it all, look where he is now!! He is a successful pastor, author, and man of God! :) He could have easily blamed God for his past and turned to the world for answers and fulfillment, but instead, He turned to God. It is not hard to see the reward He received from God for his faithfulness and obedience.
Like Chan, we must trust the Bible verse, Romans 8:28 - “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
This video also reminds me of a conversation I had with another friend tonight. We talked about taking risks and how the more we risk, the bigger the results. This can relate to how we are with the Lord. When we give up much and risk our reputation, status, etc, we are giving Him room to work in our lives and “move mountains.” We must let go and let God.
Mark 8:36 – “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?”
“May your day be fashioned with joy, sprinkled with dreams, and touched by the miracle of love.” – Barbara Johnson
